The North Carolina School Psychology Association (NCSPA) is a professional organization that supports and advocates for school psychologists across North Carolina to provide comprehensive services that reflect best practices in the field of school psychology. Becoming a NCSPA member is an important step toward your profession growth. We encourage you to participate in the Association to help remain effective, viable and current in the profession.

NCSPA works hard for its members and provides members with the following benefits:

  • At least 13 hours of free live professional learning activities each year - NC DPI, NASP, and APA approved
  • Access to over 25 hours of free asynchronous professional learning activities

    • Spring Institute (7+ hours of DPI, NASP, and APA approved learning)
    • Fall Conference (12+ hours of DPI, NASP, and APA approved learning)

Membership in the Association becomes active upon payment of dues, and remains active for one calendar yearIf a membership has lapsed, the person must reapply as a new member. With the exception of individuals qualifying for student membership, members must at all times assume the highest level of membership for which they are qualified.
