Public Relations Committee

The Public Relations Committee exists to promote public awareness and increase visibility of the field of school psychology, maintain a digital presence for the Association, and produce a monthly newsletter for members.

PR Committee The Public Relations Committee shall:

promote the work of the Association by facilitating activities during School Psychology Awareness Week
coordinate media releases for award recipients and other NCSPA events of interest
produce and submit news releases focusing on school psychology contributions at the local and regional levels
communicate with the NASP Public Relations/Public Information (PR/PI) Committee
maintain the NCSPA promotional and sale items
assist with recruitment efforts at the local, regional, and national levels
provide publicity for events
maintain and update the NCSPA website and social media platforms (e.g., posting job/internship opportunities, sharing content from Board members and committees)
consult for areas of growth for the Board related to social media (e.g. new platforms to share information) and technology in general
create and disseminate the monthly newsletter to current membership
